Individual Therapy

Individual therapy provides a safe and supportive space to process challenges, strengthen coping skills, and foster personal growth. I work with clients navigating anxiety, depression, stress, relationship concerns, grief, trauma, and major life transitions. Together, we explore patterns of thought and behavior that may be contributing to difficulties and develop practical strategies for creating change.

Therapy is not one-size-fits-all. Some sessions may focus on skill-building and problem-solving, while others may provide room for deeper reflection and emotional processing. My role is to meet you where you are and walk alongside you as you move toward greater balance, clarity, and resilience.

Healing and Support with EMDR Therapy

As an EMDR trained clinician, I offer Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy to help people heal from trauma, anxiety, grief, and challenging life experiences that continue to feel overwhelming long after they’ve happened. Sometimes difficult memories get “stuck,” causing strong emotional reactions, negative beliefs about yourself, or patterns that are hard to change. EMDR can help your brain naturally process these experiences so they feel less intense and no longer hold the same power over you.

In our work together, we move at a pace that feels safe and comfortable for you. You stay in control throughout the process, and I focus first on helping you feel grounded and supported before we begin any deeper processing. EMDR doesn’t erase memories — instead, it helps reduce the emotional weight attached to them so you can feel calmer, more confident, and more present in your daily life. My goal is to create a supportive space where meaningful healing can happen.

My Therapeutic Approach

My work is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a highly effective, evidence-based approach that examines the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Many clients find CBT helpful in building practical tools for managing stress, reducing symptoms of anxiety and depression, and creating healthier ways of thinking and responding.

At the same time, I take an eclectic, individualized approach because no two people are alike. Therapy is most powerful when it reflects your goals, preferences, and strengths. In addition to CBT, I often incorporate:

  • Mindfulness-based practices for grounding and stress reduction
  • Solution-focused strategies to help you identify strengths and create achievable steps forward
  • Strengths-based perspectives that highlight resilience and build confidence
  • Relational approaches to support healthy communication and connections
  • Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) to help individuals stabilize following complex life experiences

Support for Suicidal Thoughts & Behavior

I am passionate about suicide prevention and have received training in the Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality (CAMS) framework, Brief CBT for Suicide Prevention, and Suicide Prevention for Neurodivergent Clients. The CAMS and B-CBT approaches emphasize open, collaborative conversations about suicidal thoughts, while working together to reduce distress, increase hope, and strengthen coping strategies.

Above all, safety and stability are my top priorities. I prefer to take a collaborative approach to keep you safe and out of inpatient treatment whenever possible. I provide a non-judgmental space where you can talk openly about your struggles without fear of shame or dismissal. Together, we focus on identifying what feels overwhelming, building supports, and developing a plan to help you move through crisis and into long-term wellbeing.

Therapy with me is compassionate and adaptable. I believe in meeting you where you’re at, genuinely listening, and providing you with practical tools and space for deeper reflection.
